I'm willing to ignore the fact that Zara has completely taken over Via del Corso, the main shopping street in Rome, when I see this beautiful video they published a year ago when the Eco-efficient Zara Flagship store opened at Palazzo Bocconi. In the first two minutes of the film there's a beautiful presentation of Rome, from Trastevere,
the old Roman neighborhood to the historical center and all the main attractions.
The rest is filmed inside the flagship store during the inauguration.

Dolce, means sweet in Italian.
And this place is definitely it.
What used to be the home of an old car workshop, is now the home of beautiful pastries.
Situated in Via Savoia, zona Salaria. A nice area in the north of Rome.
With lots of shops and restaurants, and parks like Villa Borghese and Villa Torlonia close at hand.
The only thing I would wish for is a nice little corner in the shop to sit down,
relax and enjoy my pastry with coffee or tea.
Via Savoia 52Tel. 06.8416279
Open from: 9.30 to 20.00
Closed: Sunday afternoon

The first Gap flagship store has opened in Rome on Via del Corso, 471-3 in the city’s premier shopping district.
"The opening of our first flagship in Rome, a city at the heart of the arts and culture, as well as a top global tourist destination, is an exciting development in our European growth.”
- said Stephen Sunnucks, President, International, Gap Inc.
Can't argue with the message in the window...*BE BRIGHT*
What do you think? Do you shop international or local brands when you go abroad?

"Lost, yesterday, somewhere between sunrise and sunset, two golden hours, each set with sixty diamond minutes. No reward is offered for they are gone forever."
Remember: Life is beautiful!
Cherish each moment, because it will never come again.
Have a nice start to your week-end!

Ciuri-ciuri is a Sicilian bakery and Gelateria, an Italian ice-cream parlor, which many claim is the best one in Rome! They sell all kinds of Sicilian specialties, (if you like cannelloni's you should definitely try theirs..) but I prefer the ice-cream!
There are 4 Ciuri-ciuri's in Rome; one in Monti, Metro Cavour Via Leolina 18/20
Another by the Colosseum Via Labicana 124/128
also close to Piazza Navona and Pantheon L.go Teatro Valle 1/2
and in Trastevere P.zza San Cosimato 49/b
